The Beatmasters


Probably one of the most successful Uk composing and producing groups from the past due ’80s, the Beatmasters were Richard Walmsley, Amanda Glanfield and Paul Carter, the second option set both veterans from the business jingle industry. Most well-known for their use Betty Boo, for whom they helmed the smash “Hey DJ, I CANNOT Dance (Towards the Music You’re Playing),” the Beatmasters also crafted Best 20 strikes in tandem using the Cookie Team (“Rok Da Home”), Yazz (“OPERATE for Your Like Privileges”), Merlin MC (“Who’s inside your home”) and P.P. Arnold (“Burn off It Up”). Additionally, the trio also released a set of LPs, 1989’s Anywayawanna and 1991’s Existence and Spirit. They later created and remixed materials for Erasure, Family pet Shop Males and Marc Almond.
