The Beat Chemist

The Defeat Chemist, aka Kyle Tallon, continues to be churning out his one-man act of ambient, breakbeat, and drum’n’bass around his indigenous of Ontario, Canada. Using the diverse affects of DJ Darkness, Daft Punk, the Origins, Radiohead, and Portishead, the Defeat Chemist in addition has obtained some notoriety through his remixes from the Beastie Young boys’ “Intergalactic” and Bjork’s “I Miss You.” Together with a small number of combine tapes, his EP The Daybreak was self-released in 1999.
