Charlie and Danny Bailey were popular radio performers in Western world Virginia and Tennessee through the later ’40s and ’50s and were one of the couple of fraternal duets to successfully produce the changeover from old-time music to bluegrass. The Bailey Brothers had been born to a big, musically inclined family members in Content Valley, Tennessee.
