The Baboons

Miami-based the Baboons started composing their very own music in the first ’90s while playing at little venues in Southern Beach. In 1999, the music group released its initial album, called Progression, getting reviews that are positive in the neighborhood media. Merging the Baboons’ music artists’ hard rock and roll and funky affects with Latin dance grooves, the six-piece action documented Global Gumbo in the entire year 2000. Documented at Miami’s Crimson Door Studios, the group’s third record, Spanglish, appeared over ten years . 5 afterwards, in 2016.
