The Albion Band

Originally used like a name to credit the musicians hired to accompany Shirley Collins in 1971, the Albion Band later on became an organization within their own best. Bass participant Ashley Hutchings, who acquired previously founded and still left both Fairport Convention and Steeleye Period, is the generating drive behind this group. The associates make use of acoustic and electrical instruments to make a folk-rock sound something similar to Fairport Convention’s, but generally more typically British in character. They will have existed because the Albion Music group, the Albion Nation Music group, as well as the Albion Dance Music group.
