Engineer/manufacturer Alan Parsons and his colleague, songwriter and lyricist Eric Woolfson, formed the Alan Parsons Task in 1975. Throughout their profession, the Alan Parsons Task recorded idea albums (including adaptations of Poe and Asimov books), having a revolving solid of session music artists. 1982’s Attention in the Sky was their very best success; the name monitor charted in the very best Ten within the pop graphs as well as the recording proceeded to go platinum. Although they weren’t in a position to repeat that achievement, the group managed a dedicated cult audience.
