Biography
East Coast option metallic ensemble the Acacia Stress start using a bone-crushing tempo section, apocalyptic examples, and a distinctive triple-guitar assault to provide their signature mixture of hardcore, sound, and loss of life and doom steel. Shaped in Springfield, Massachusetts in 2001, the group contains guitarists Chris Daniele, Daniel Daponde, and Daniel Laskiewitz, vocalist Vincent Bennett, bass participant Karrie Whitfield, and drummer Ben Abert. They released their debut, …And Lifestyle IS QUITE Long, in 2002, accompanied by 3750 on Prosthetic Information in 2004. After 3750, the group dropped Abert (who was simply changed by drummer Kevin Boutot) and Daniele, and obtained bassist Seth Coleman (Whitfield having departed in 2003). In 2006 the Acacia Stress returned making use of their third full-length recording, Deceased Walk, on Prosthetic; consequently, Coleman was changed by bassist Jack port Solid. Released in 2008, Continent discovered the group working like a foursome, pursuing Daponde’s departure, while 2010’s Wormwood launched melodic hooks in to the venomous mixture of breakdowns and skull-splitting howling. The live Compact disc/DVD Many Known Unknown showed up the following 12 months. The Acacia Stress signed to go up Information in 2012, liberating Death May be the Just Mortal from the year’s end. Longtime member Laskiewitz remaining the music group in 2013, and was changed by Devin Shidaker and High Gomez, both of whom added guitar towards the Acacia Strain’s seventh full-length recording, 2014’s Coma Witch.
