The obscure Boston-area alternative rock-band the 360’s originally formed in 1989, made up of members Audrey Clark (guitar, vocals), Eric Russell (guitar), Brian Evans (bass), and John Grady (drums). The quartet 1st began under a different name, the Bardots, issuing a self-produced demonstration tape, Tripping Using the Angels, soon thereafter. By 1991, the quartet experienced authorized to the Asylum label and released their debut full-length, Illuminated, an recording which was explained at that time as a mix between Sonic Youngsters and ’60s psychedelic rock and roll. Despite several even more releases through the early ’90s — 1992’s Supernatural and Tx EP (the second option which included a cover of Jimi Hendrix’s “ARE YOU CURRENTLY Experienced?”), plus 1994’s Strawberry Rock — the 360’s by no means caught on using the record buying general public, and eventually break up up.
