Longtime friends and music collaborators Jeffrey McGrath, Michael Bouyoucas, and Elke Wardlaw constitute the experimental post-rock group MANY THANKS. After accumulating a status with firmly knit and ever-sprawling concert events, they released their initial album, World Town, in August of 2007. With large textures constructed upon primal syncopated beats, the Baltimore trio discovered a fitting house with the rhythm-based indie label Thrill Jockey Information and released Terrible Two on June 3, 2008. The music group toured internationally with Mi Ami and released a limited-edition EP entitled Pathetic Magic before Elke Wardlaw still left the fold. Wardlaw was changed by drummer Emmanuel Nicolaidis, who performed on 2011’s Golden Get worried.
