Longtime friends and veteran R&B singers Tyrese, Ginuwine, and Container shaped a trio, dubbed TGT, in 2007. They worked well together on the remix of Tank’s “DO NOT Proceed,” and made an appearance on Thin Thug’s “I WANT TO Grind,” however they didn’t make their alliance recognized until 2012, if they signed using the Atlantic label. Promising to supply pure and adult R&B, their first genuine launch was the ballad “Sex By no means Thought Better,” released in Feb 2013. They released their 1st recording, Three Kings, that August, with songwriting responsibilities distributed between all three users and extra collaborative insight from famous brands Harvey Mason, Jr., Damon Thomas, Brandon Hodge, and Lonny Bereal, amongst others.
