Beneath the direction of Mohamed Larbi Temsamani, the Tetuan Orchestra continues to be specialized in the preservation of north Morocco’s traditional Arabo-Andalusian music. Some of their recordings are single-CD size celebrations from the region’s music, Nuba Ramal Al-Maya includes a nine-hour lengthy religious work released as a couple of nine CDs. The Tetuan Orchestra collaborated with important Moroccan vocalist and Mokum Television Amsterdam character Abdessadek Chekara (1931-1998) within the recording YA Bent Bladi.
