Teshome Wolde

b. 8 Sept 1957, Shoa, Ethiopia. A spirit vocalist in the design of Mahmoud Ahmed, Wolde initial found achievement in the middle-70s with some acclaimed shows at the town Hall Theater in Addis Ababa. In 1981 he released his first cassette in Ethiopia and he provides eventually released eight even more for the neighborhood market. He provides performed throughout Ethiopia and in neighbouring countries including Djibouti and Saudi Arabia. He in addition has toured in European countries and the united states. His debut Compact disc, The Ethiopian Spirit Review, was documented at a concert on the Rocket Hall in London in 1994, with support given by the Ethio Superstars. Released four years afterwards it includes a combination of high-energy dance music and soulful ballads and resembles a rigorous North African edition from the Memphis Spirit Reviews from the 60s.
