Terry Dexter

R&B vocalist/songwriter Terry Dexter grew up in Detroit, signing up for her initial group, the vocal trio Tristar, in age 9 and sticking to them until she was 14. In senior high school, she discovered occasional session function, including singing back-up for Simply Crimson. After graduating, she went to the College or university of Michigan to get a year, but still left when she was agreed upon to a documenting contract by College or university Music Entertainment, which released her debut record, Terry Dexter, through Warner Bros. in 1999. Her debut one, “MUCH BETTER THAN Me,” produced the R&B graphs.
