Teodross Avery Quartet

b. 2 July 1973, Fairfield, California, USA. Avery’s 1st musical excursions had been on acoustic guitar when he was a decade old. 3 years later on, he turned to alto saxophone and performed in his junior senior high school music group. A little later on, now in senior high school, he produced a further switch, this time around to tenor saxophone, prompted through hearing information by John Coltrane and Dexter Gordon. Avery obtained bandstand encounter through sitting-in with going to music artists, among whom had been Artwork Blakey, Donald Byrd, Elvin Jones, Branford Marsalis and Wynton Marsalis.
