Forged by Colosseum drummer Jon Hiseman, progressive jazz-rock quartet Tempest made an appearance in the scene in 1972. Paul Williams, who acquired done period on bass with both John Mayall’s Bluesbreakers and Zoot Money’s Big Move Music group and who acquired sung for Juicy Lucy, supplied vocals, jazz fusion star Allan Holdsworth manned your guitar, and fellow Colosseum member Tag Clark provided the bass. The group released its self-titled debut in 1973. Williams still left the following season and was changed by guitarist/keyboardist/vocalist Ollie Halsall, who acquired documented with Timebox, Brian Eno, and Scaffold. The causing Living in Dread premiered in 1974. The group divide in 1975, using the associates splintering off into several rings, including Colosseum II, Hill, Uriah Heep, and Boxer. Castle Music UK released the retrospective Surviving in Dread: The Anthology in 2005.
