Indie electronic task Tei Shi may be the creation of musician Valerie Teicher, a indigenous of Buenos Aires, Argentina. She was raised across North and SOUTH USA, though, spending many years in Bogotá, Colombia; Vancouver, Canada; and Boston, Massachusetts, where she went to the Berklee University of Music. After college, she resolved in NEW YORK to pursue music skillfully. Teicher published her initial Tei Shi one, “M&Ms,” to music-sharing sites in middle-2013. An R&B-inflected indie pop tune with split vocal loops, it produced waves in the blogosphere and gained an attentive group of fans. The melody was among six over the self-released Saudade EP afterwards that year. For the time being, she was a highlighted vocalist on monitors by performers including Glass Pets and Shy Young ladies (Dan Vidmar). She implemented up her debut in the springtime of 2015 with another EP, Verde, released by Mother + Pop imprint Mermaid Avenue. Its business lead one, the atmospheric dance monitor “Bassically,” gathered seven-figure channels within weeks and made an appearance on social media graphs. Tei Shi after that agreed upon with Downtown Information, which released her full-length debut, Crawl Space, in March 2017.
