Teen Men

Named to get a term from a ’60s ad in Playboy magazine, melodically sweet, experimental electro-pop strap Teen Men started like a one-off public-access Television audio/video task in Wilmington, Delaware. Vocalist/guitarist Nick Krill and guitarist Joey Hobson of indie dance-rockers the Spinto Music group, with visual performers Albert Birney and Catharine Maloney (both on keyboards), ultimately gathered enough materials from subsequent classes to follow through to the task, which included music uplifting the video performers and vice versa. The quartet documented their debut record at the NURSERY and Paperlab Documenting with Krill anatomist, mixing and making. Amid a tour to get Clap THE HANDS State Yeah!, the self-titled LP premiered in mid-2015 by Club/None Records.
