Nation singer/songwriter Ted Russell Kamp was created in NY and was raised within the Northeast, but he developed his music career after university while surviving in Seattle, WA. Because the leader from the trio Ponticello, he produced four albums, The Get away Artist, Natural cotton Diesel, Down Like Mercury, and Dark Edges. (The 2003 compilation The Ponticello Years summarizes this materials.) He also produced his first single recording, an instrumental jazz collection known as Dedications (1996), acknowledged to Ted Kamp. Kamp relocated to LA in 2001. There he created Union Pacific, performed in other rings, and did program function. In 2003, he was employed because the bass participant in Shooter Jennings’ back-up music group, the .357’s. For the reason that capability, he published “Steady in the Steering wheel” and co-wrote (with Jennings and Leroy Powell) “Southern Comfort and ease,” both which had been presented on Jennings’ 2005 recording Place the O Back Nation. Kamp released the single recording NorthSouth in 2005 and implemented it with Nashville Fineline in 2006. He composed, arranged, created, and played almost twelve different equipment on his following solo record, Divisadero, released to retail on Kufala Information on January 30, 2007. The disk featured guest performances from Jennings and Jessi Colter.
