Ted Bluechel

Ted Bluechel Jr. began in professional music like a guitarist and vocalist, and was immersed within the folk revival of the first ’60s. He do a stint as an associate from the Cherry Hill Performers before switching to drums. Because the drummer for the Association from 1965 onward, he also sang harmonies and back-up — although as the music group tended to utilize studio musicians for some from the instrumental parts on its recordings, his playing really can best be noticed around the group’s live recording. Bluechel remaining the Association completely in 1984.
