With more information on combine albums to his credit, Tayo is really a pioneering London-based breaks DJ who also makes tracks, often in collaboration with others. Blessed Tayo Popoola, he helped jump-start the nu-breaks picture in London when, together with Rennie Pilgrem and Adam Freeland, he founded the important Friction club evening in 1996. Throughout the convert of the hundred years, he began launching commercial combine albums annually, perhaps most obviously among them Globe from the Breakz (1999), Nu Horizons: ANOTHER Era of Breaks, Vol. 3 (2001), Con4K: Additional Still (2001), Con4K: Summer months Breaks (2002), Con4K Following Level Breaks: Dread on the Handles (2003), Mob Deep, Vol. 1 (2003), Beatz & Bobz, Vol. 3 (2004), THEY ARE the Breaks (2006), and Fabriclive.32 (2007). The last mentioned combine, Fabriclive.32, won DJ Magazine’s Best of Uk Prize and showcases how diverse Tayo’s musical design had become over time, drawing from a number of bass-heavy breakbeat designs, including dub, dubstep, Baltimore membership, and hip-hop. Furthermore to his DJing, Tayo also created tracks, frequently in collaboration and frequently reserved for DJ play instead of commercial discharge. He also founded the label Mob Information in 1999, and even though he split in the label five years afterwards, it remained functional, launching 12″ EPs by way of a wide variety of producers.
