Taxi Doll

Named following the bobble-headed figurines perched atop many a cabbie’s dashboard, Taxi cab Doll combines muscular pop/rock and roll build with electronic flourishes. The music group formed in LA in 2004, when Western european vocalist Dhana crossed pathways with keyboardist/manufacturer Gregg Allen. Both shared a pastime in dance-oriented rock and roll music — including Blondie as well as the Chemical substance Brothers, the last mentioned of whom acquired previously documented with Allen — and their shared influences quickly provided method to a full-fledged music group. Taxi cab Doll extended its ranks by adding drummer Jason Graham and bassist Brian Hendrix, as well as the music group garnered its initial accolades using the discharge of Waiting around in 2006. The EP’s name monitor peaked at number 3 over the American graphs, as well as the music group returned 2 yrs later using a full-length record, Here and today.
