Tashaki Miyaki

Weaving hazy guitar pop, Tashaki Miyaki can be an indie group produced by vocalist/multi-instrumentalist Paige Stark and guitarist Luke Paquin (Hot Hot Heating), who fulfilled in LA in 2004, many years before officially beginning the group. Both component of a cultural circle of region musicians which includes manufacturer/music artists Jon Brion and Joel Jerome, they performed separately on various other tasks (with Stark frequently using pseudonyms) before piecing together their self-titled Tashaki Miyaki debut EP, released by U.K. label the Noises of Sweet Nothing at all in 2011. Burger Information provided the EP a U.S. cassette discharge two years afterwards. A covers record known as Under Cover found its way to 2012 that included music by performers spanning Sam Cooke, INXS, and Dad John Misty. Under Cover, Vol. 2 implemented as a free of charge download in 2015. Joined up with in the studio room by Dora Hiller on bass, the band’s correct full-length debut, The Wish, was made by Stark and released via Metropolis Information in Apr 2017.
