Tash Sultana (brief for Natasha Sultana) can be an Australian indie musician known on her behalf fiery vocals and control of multiple devices and looping pedals. She 1st found the limelight via the web with live video clips of her one-woman-band shows. Sultana got her 1st guitar like a preschooler and continued to understand brass, woodwind, and percussion devices, among others, usually eager to find out more. She was busking around the roads of Melbourne by her mid-teens. Open up about her fights with addiction in those days, she experienced a drug-induced psychosis at age 17. After recovering using specialized help, Sultana began a Bandcamp web page and began producing video clips of her shows and uploading these to YouTube. In the springtime of 2016, when she was 20, a live documenting of her track “Jungle” proceeded to go viral on Facebook, accumulating more than a million takes on in under weekly. She released the six-track Idea EP that Dec, including the guitar-based reggae melody. For the time being, she accepted invites to try out at music celebrations, and in early 2017, Sultana authorized with New York’s Mother + Pop Music, which provided her debut EP a multi-format discharge. That season also brought a active touring timetable with displays booked across Australia and New Zealand, European countries, the U.S., and Canada.
