Folk-pop singer/songwriter Tanya Savory began attracting notice in 1994 following winning the Rising Songwriter Competition on the annual Napa Valley Music Festival; her 1996 success on the Kerrville New Folk Songwriting Competition solidified her popularity being a talent to view, and a season later she released her debut album, Better Tone of Green. City to Town implemented in 1999.
