Tangorodrim

The accidental collaboration of three self-described alcoholics, Israel’s Tangorodrim came collectively between taking in binges circa 1998 to execute blasphemous dark metal within the raw-boned tradition of Darkthrone, early Mayhem, and Hellhammer. Rumored to become Russian immigrants, Mrakobes (vocals/acoustic guitar), Tangor (acoustic guitar), Darveter (bass), and Alcogolik (drums) produced their documented debut with 1999’s ultra-crude Unholy Metallic Way, and adopted it a few years later on with THOSE THAT Unleashed — both released with the band’s personal Aggressor Productions. Alternatively, 2004’s vinyl-only Unholy and Unlimited was released by Southern Lord Recordings — in a restricted 666-piece vinyl fabric pressing, naturally.
