Tammy Rogers

Fiddler Tammy Rogers was created in Tennessee in 1966 and raised in Irving, TX. As a teenager, she was trained traditional music but also performed frequently with her family members at bluegrass celebrations. After graduating university, she became a member of Patty Loveless’ support music group, which she adopted having a stint support Trisha Yearwood. After departing Yearwood, Rogers became a prominent program musician, assisting Kieran Kane on both his last record for Atlantic Information and on his following tour. When Kane was fell by Atlantic, he produced his very own label, Deceased Reckoning, and Rogers shortly became among the company’s initial signings. Her 1995 debut, In debt, was a collaborative instrumental work with noted program drummer Don Heffington; her next work, an eponymously entitled 1996 effort, highlighted both her songwriting and vocal abilities.
