Vocalist Tammi Terrell joined pushes using the immortal Marvin Gaye to generate a number of the most significant love music ever to emerge from the Motown strike factory; unfortunately, their group of traditional duets — “Ain’t No Hill Great Enough,” “Ain’t NOTHING BEATS genuine,” and “You’re All I have to MANAGE” included in this — found an abrupt and tragic halt with her early death. Terrell was created Thomasina Montgomery in Philadelphia on Apr 29, 1945; after earning several local skill contests, by age 13 she was frequently opening club schedules for serves including Gary “U.S.” Bonds and Patti LaBelle & the Bluebelles. In 1961, she was uncovered by manufacturer Luther Dixon and agreed upon to Scepter.
