Tamar Kaprelian

Vocalist/songwriter Tamar Kaprelian got her big break after being successful OneRepublic’s “Apologize” Cover Competition on YouTube in 2008. The cover tune premiered as an individual and OneRepublic lead Ryan Tedder launched Kaprelian to Interscope, who ultimately authorized her to a documenting contract. Created in Scottsdale, AZ, the Armenian-American Kaprelian was initially excited from the music in traditional animated Disney movies. However, being a pianist/vocalist she afterwards drew motivation from such iconic vocalist/songwriters as Billy Joel, Elton John, Paul McCartney and Carol Ruler. This year 2010, Kaprelian released her debut record, Sinner or a Saint, offering the one “New Time.”
