Tallari

A broadly admired group that works together with the Folk Music Institute, Tallari’s instrumental lineup is nearly as diverse as its repertoire. Not merely do they enjoy the ubiquitous fiddle and kantele, but also such historic musical instruments as the jouhikko (three-stringed lyre) as well as the birch bark. Tallari are focused on recovering and conserving a huge selection of traditional Finnish folk tracks.
