Tall Stories

This cult AOR band was formed in NY, USA, in 1988 by vocalist/guitarist Steve Augeri (b. 30 January 1959, Brooklyn, NY, USA). The High Stories line-up resolved with the help of lead guitarist Jack port Morer as well as the skilled rhythm portion of Tom DeFaria (drums) and Kevin Totoian (bass). The second option had changed Anthony Esposito (bass), who sign up for Lynch Mob, while several early drummers included the Damn Yankees’ Michael Cartellone. The music group’s abilities created as they performed the clubs across the tri-state section of New York, NJ and Connecticut, plus they had been agreed upon by Epic Information. The Frank Fillipetti-produced High Tales was universally hailed as an AOR traditional, with an artful guitar-based delivery similar to Tyketto. Augeri’s vocals evoked Trip’s Steve Perry and Strangeways’ Terry Brock furthermore to Tyketto’s Danny Vaughn. Nevertheless, like many great 90s AOR albums, High Stories continues to be an undiscovered jewel. Augeri departed to become listed on Tyketto in 1995, but 3 years later changed Perry in Trip.
