Tall Heights

A talented duo based out of Boston, Massachusetts, High Heights’ evocative, atmosphere-driven pop confections pull from both progressive folk and electro-tinged indie pop, invoking brands like Bon Iver, Sufjan Stevens, Fleet Foxes, and Jose Gonzalez. Founded this year 2010 by vocalist/guitarist Tim Harrington and vocalist/cellist Paul Wright, both of whom fulfilled in their distributed hometown of Sturbridge, the duo spent their start musically patrolling the roads of Boston — they funded their debut record using a marathon 100-day time busking program. After issuing a set of impartial EPs in 2011 and 2012, High Levels released their debut LP, 2013’s Guy of Rock. All three outings shown the well-honed, acoustic-based audio that that they had been perfecting on the town streets over time. They extended that audio on 2015’s SECURING, Keeping Out EP, which launched drums, guitar, and key pad into the blend. The duo inked a cope with Sony Masterworks soon thereafter, and in 2016 released their full-length major-label debut Neptune.
