Taint

Welsh hard rock and roll trio Taint possess forged a distinctive style from a wide range of affects, embracing components of punk, stoner rock and roll, sludge metallic, technical metallic, and even items of indie rock and roll, and melding them right into a precise, unrelenting assault. Taint were created in South Wales in 1993 by guitarist and vocalist Wayne “Jimbob” Isaac, bassist Darren Mason, and drummer Alex Harries. After documenting a small number of self-released cassette demos and showing up on the compilation from Home Name Information, Taint released their debut EP, Die Die Truthspeaker, through Home Name in 2000; by this time around, Mason had remaining the group and Stophe experienced changed him on bass, though Stophe would keep the music group in 2001 and Chris Western would dominate as Taint’s fresh bassist. Split produces with Black Vision Riot and Military of Soaring Robots adopted in 2003 and 2005, respectively, along with considerable touring, and in 2005 the group authorized using the uncompromising U.K. metallic label GO ABOVE Information. That same 12 months, GO ABOVE released Taint’s first full-length recording, the epochal The Damage of Nová Roma, documented in California and made by previous Fudge Tunnel guitarist Alex Newport. After rounds of effective touring in the U.K., European countries, and Greece, Taint came back to the studio room for his or her second full-length recording, 2007’s Secrets and Lays.
