The Halifax pop group Shyne Manufacturing plant was formed in 1992 by Shawn Scott and brothers Mike and Matt Johnson. Their cassette-only EPs Canvas (1994) and Pop Artwork (1995) had been released by Launch Information. A full-length Compact disc, Candy Coated, premiered in 1997 by No Information.
