Peter Hanson is a violinist who played in John Eliot Gardiner’s Orchestre Révolutionnaire et Romantique and various other period device ensembles. In 1993 he co-founded the Eroica Quartet, an ensemble specialized in rediscovering and reviving a geniune nineteenth-century performing design for strings, and it is its initial violinist.
