A little-known band of Puerto Rican rappers, the brand new York-based Mesanjarz of Funk released just one single 1993 self-titled full-length, on Atlantic. Structured around Jose Moronta and Donald Powells, the group discovered little achievement with a set of singles, “Maintain It Flowin'” and “Funk in da Trunk.”
