Tadashi Hattori

Japanese composer who concert works included a big body of music for mandolin that’s considered significant. Hattori’s most familiar, or, at least, most broadly heard music had been the ratings that he composed for three films by Akira Kurosawa: They Who Stage Over the Tiger’s Tail, No Regrets For Our Youngsters, and One Great Weekend, in 1946 and 1947.
