Forging a uniquely lush, dreamy appear she dubbed “ethereal,” Tacye started composing music as a kid; at 17, she relocated from her indigenous Britain to Egypt, progressively absorbing Eastern affects into her following songs. Like a keyboardist and remixer, she collaborated with famous brands Utah Saints and Bomb the Bass, in addition to writing some tunes with Toyah Wilcox; Tacye additionally documented and toured with Wishbone Ash before liberating her single debut I Don’t Require a Weapon in 1999.
