Tacocat

Tacocat is a punk-pop quartet from Seattle, Washington that formed in 2007. Drummer Lelah Maupin and guitarist Eric Randall 1st fulfilled while working collectively at a Safeway supermarket in their indigenous Longview, Washington. Following the two relocated to Seattle, they fulfilled bassist Bree McKenna and vocalist Emily Nokes. Bonding over their shared like for the punk, indie, and riot grrrl music from the ’90s, the four people of Tacocat started playing small displays at house celebrations around city and liberating singles. In past due 2010, they released their debut recording, Pity Spiral, an upbeat, 13-music recording of fun, pop culture-referencing, catchy punk. THE GIRL Day EP adopted in 2011 and the next year they authorized with Sub Pop subsidiary Barely Art, liberating their second EP, Consider Me to Your Seller. During this time period, Tacocat continued release a D.I.Con. singles via their website and Bandcamp web page. McKenna was also area of the music group Childbirth, with Pony Time’s Stacy Peck and Julia Shapiro of Chastity Belt, plus they released their debut recording in 2013. Tacocat’s second LP and Barely Artwork debut, NVM, was made by Seattle rock and roll tale Conrad Uno and found its way to Feb 2014. After another Childbirth recording, 2015’s Women’s Privileges, the music group returned using their third recording, the Erik Blood-produced Shed Period, in early 2016.
