Tabula Rasa

Pittsburgh’s Tabula Rasa rip away the business gloss lately ‘90s punk, getting it back again to its separate root base with unrestrained youthful passion. The music group was produced in 2000 by grade-school pals Rob Spagiare (vocals, electric guitar) and Andrew Grossman (electric guitar). Spagiare was originally the bassist for Hearing to Ear; from then on group split, Spagiare and Grossman began Tabula Rasa and added bassist Justin Campbell and drummer Jeff Kopanic. Only a week older, the band experienced their first gig starting for any wrestling match. In 2001, they documented a self-titled EP. The group was ultimately authorized to A-F Information and released their debut recording The Part of Smith, made by J. Robbins of Jawbox popularity, in 2003. Tabula Rasa’s frenetic, uncompromising hard rock and roll is often in comparison to Fugazi.
