T.S. Monk

Though it took him some time before he made a decision to dedicate himself to using jazz, T.S. Monk (Thelonious Monk, Jr.) has recently accomplished a whole lot. He began playing trumpet and piano before switching to drums when he was 13, acquiring some lessons from Potential Roach. His initial public functionality was along with his dad, Thelonious Monk, on the tv program in 1970. He toured along with his father’s quartet during 1970-1971 and used the fusion music group Natural Fact, the Paul Jeffrey Big Music group, and acquired an R&B group known as T.S.
