T la Rock

Biography

The older sibling of Treacherous Three’s Special K, T la Rock’s greatest contribution to hip-hop was “It’s Yours,” a 1984 single made by Rick Rubin. Particular K was originally established to record the melody, which was compiled by both of the brothers, but he persuaded his brother to accomplish it rather. Although it has been stated that it had been the very first Def Jam discharge, it in fact wasn’t — it had been officially released by Partytime/Streetwise, as well as the sleeve style only featured an early on Def Jam logo design. T la Rock and roll continued to record albums for Clean and Sleeping Handbag: 1987’s Lyrical Ruler was released over the previous, and 1989’s On the Warpath premiered on the last mentioned. Kurtis Mantronik helped out with creation over the debut; Todd Terry leant a hands towards the follow-up.
