Syreeta Thompson

Manhattan-based performer Syreeta Thompson (aka “The Trumpet Lady”) is certainly a trumpeter, vocalist, and educator known on her behalf jazz and R&B-infused method of gospel. Along with executing, Thompson can be an in-demand clinician and educator who retains many positions including instructor of instrumental music for the Cicely Tyson College of Great and Performing Arts in NJ and instrumental music planner for Dorinda Clark-Cole’s Performers and Musicians Meeting. Elevated in Chicago, Thompson started playing trumpet at age group 12, executing with her cathedral band and their studies at Chicago’s Sherwood Conservatory of Music.
