Bussotti was a gifted kid musician and entered the Florence Conservatory in 1940. He still left four years afterwards to pursue 3rd party study in structure and was inspired by Deutsch, Metzger, Boulez, and Cage, amongst others. His music participates in and in addition criticizes the decadence of modernism.
