Sybarite

Sybarite may be the task of manufacturer/multi-instrumentalist Xian Hawkins, who combines electronic and acoustic noises in active and evocative methods. Hawkins performed within the Sterling silver Apples within the middle-’90s, touring using the music group and appearing in the albums Beacon and Decatur before implementing the Sybarite moniker in 1999. His initial EP, Meusic, premiered that season by Emanate Information; the Otonomy EP and Musicforafilm, his soundtrack for the film Eliminate Me Tomorrow and Brief Residence debut, implemented in 2000. A 2001 one for Zealectronic Orange preceded the discharge of Sybarite’s debut record, Nonument, which appeared via 4AD in 2002.
