Sword

Sword was formed in Canada by brothers Mick Hughes (vocals) and Dan Hughes (drums), guitarist Mike Herb, and bassist Mike Larock in early 1985. Putting your signature on with regional Aquarius Information, the band slice its solid, though barely groundbreaking, debut Metalized in 1986. The band’s audio was a muscular make of traditional metallic with tasteful riffs and solos by Herb and infectious shout-along choruses. The music group never made very much headway south from the boundary, however, and split soon after documenting their sophomore recording Sweet Dreams the next year.
