Produced in Adelaide, Australia in 1995, the indie-pop quartet Special William comprised singer/guitarist Jason Sweeney, guitarist Louey Hart, bassist Karl Melvin and cellist Allye Sinclair. Filled with a drum machine dubbed Dr. Tempo, the group debuted over the Apocalypse of Boredom compilation, also issuing an individual over the Matinee label before launching the EP Ambiguous on Twee Kitten in 1998.
