Sweet Blindness

The soul and jazz band Nice Blindness was referred to as the Statlers for nearly eight years prior to the name change in the middle-’70s; the band’s self-titled debut recording made an appearance in 1976 and was accompanied by Energize a 12 months later. The revolving lineup included vocalists Bobby Dupont and Don Meeker; bassists Al Sea, Ronnie Gant and Bruce Barrow; guitarists Expenses Murray and Curtis Lee; drummer Sonny Milne and key pad players Gabor Szepesi and Phil Smith.
