Dayton, OH-based lo-fi pop duo Swearing in Motorists teamed vocalist/guitarist Dave Doughman and drummer Don Thrasher, the second option an associate of community heroes Guided by Voices in their Bee Thousand-era maximum. Debuting in 1995 having a self-released, self-titled cassette, Swearing at Motorists came back the following 12 months with an EP, Tuesday’s Pretzel Night time. The full-length Concern with Low Soaring Clouds made an appearance in 1997, with an increase of Songs from your Mellow Struggle (the band’s debut work for the Secretly Canadian label) and Quantity Seven Uptown both pursuing two years later on. By 2000, founding member Don Thrasher remaining the band. THE DIFFICULTY with Sweeney’s Joseph Siwinski was earned to try out drums. The Across the Incline Aircraft EP as well as the This Flag Indicators Goodbye recording both adopted in 2002. A tour using the Keep Steady in addition to an appearance in the annual SXSW meeting coincided the discharge of YESTERDAY EVENING Becomes TODAY in 2006.
