Biography

Swamp Terrorists certainly are a Swiss industrial group shaped in the past due ’80s by picture veterans STR (programmer) and Ane H (vocals). The band’s origins go back so far as 1980, when STR started working as Music group Berne Crematoire. He created a synth-pop group called Nacht-Raum in 1983, but was using commercial guitars from the 1986 development of Strangler from the Swamp. While playing a display with the neighborhood music group Tierstein, he fulfilled vocalist Ane H., and both quickly gelled. The initial lineup of Swamp Terrorists included both plus guitarist Francis H. Following the release of 1 EP (HE’S Guilty), Francis remaining, departing Ane H. and STR to record their debut recording, Grim-Stroke-Disease, for Equipment/Sound in 1990; Grow-Speed Shot followed twelve months later. By enough time third recording Combat Shock premiered in 1994 (on Re-Constriction), Swamp Terrorists experienced gained three fresh members for concert events: guitarist Springtime, bassist Anrej A. and drummer Piet Hertig. The newfound balance demonstrated illusory; STR unexpectedly still left the group soon after the discharge of 1995’s Killer, and started working with a fresh band called Hellsau.
