The trio Swamp Rat features three Nashville session music artists, guitarist Dan Cohen, bassist Adam Make, and drummer Derek Mixon. Make and Mixon, both from Louisiana, fulfilled there, where these were the tempo section for Howard Shaft. With Cohen, they supported Brad Martin and had been together once again as people of Tracy Byrd’s back-up band. Numerous specific recording periods and touring stints with nation stars followed.
